Having signed an agreement with the technology providers; OP3, we can now offer consumers direct access to valuable information via their mobile telephone cameras. Conventional bar codes are limited in the amount of information they carry and special bar code readers are required. Anyone with a compatible camera phone can download the ShotCode reader that allows them to read the ShotCodes. After scanning the ShotCode, consumers are directly linked to the right URL, which can contain any information possible. Through this mechanism, brands can now pull in their consumers from their own packaging and increase brand loyalty. Consumers can:
- Link directly to your web site
- Enter competitions
- Download e.g. ringtones/wallpaper
- Obtain product information
- Obtain other promotional data
As each code is unique, and every scan is recorded, you can track and monitor the success of your marketing campaigns and target your consumers more effectively.
