BAMA appoints new Marketing & Communications Manager

The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) has announced the appointment of Michelle Grady as its new Marketing and Communications Manager.
Before joining BAMA, Michelle worked for six years at the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), where her role for the last three years was as Public Relations Manager.
One of Michelle’s immediate tasks will be as a key member of the team responsible for organising the aerosol industry’s prestigious international exhibition and congress in Manchester, which takes place in September 2007 and is hosted by BAMA. This includes the marketing, co-ordination and promotion of the first ever international aerosol awards.
Michelle will be responsible for the internal communications for the Association as well as working with members, government, legislators, media and retailers. She will work closely with BAMA’s public relations consultancy Axiom Communications. Michelle’s brief includes management of the Association’s website, event planning, issues management and membership services.
Commenting on her appointment, BAMA director, Sue Rogers said: “We are delighted to have Michelle on board. Her experience in working within a trade association will be immensely valuable to BAMA and its members. I am confident that her experience will be a great asset in helping us promote and communicate the continuing innovation within our industry, as well as taking forward our work on the important environmental, technical and social issues in which the Association is involved.
