BAMA Relaunches Website - www.bama.co.uk

27/05/2008

BAMA – the British Aerosol Manufacturer’s Association - has relaunched its website www.bama.co.uk  incorporating a number of new features and additional information about aerosols and the industry.

The new site incorporates a more consumer-friendly ‘About Aerosols’ section including advice on flight travel with aerosols, a timely addition in view of the tight airline security and the onset of the key travel season.

There is also an enhanced aerosol supplier database – including the facility to search alphabetically and by product type. Site visitors will also be able to purchase BAMA publications online and, for existing Association members, the member-only section is expanded with a range of additional information including guidance on key pieces of legislation and how it will affect members’ businesses.

Journalists can also now download aerosol images direct from the media section of the site, please contact BAMA for login details.  Use of these images is free of charge on the condition that BAMA is credited with copyright.

Sue Rogers, Director of BAMA, said: “The BAMA website is frequently used by a wide variety of visitors in addition to industry sector specialists. Schools, students, members of the public and the media as well as international website-visitors all turn to BAMA as a specialist source of information on the topic of aerosols and so we felt it important to update and improve what is already a very well-used resource. Of course, we welcome feedback and suggestions for still more improvements in the future”.
