30/06/2009
The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) has announced the appointment of Fiona McKenzie as its new Communications Executive
A recent Public Relations and Language graduate, Fiona has worked as part of the communications team both in-house within a global diversified gases and chemicals company as well as within the consumer division of an International public relations consultancy, as part of her four year degree course.
Fiona will be responsible for both internal and external communications for the Association and will be working with members, government, legislators, media and retailers. She will work closely with BAMA’s public relations consultancy Axiom Communications. Fiona’s brief includes management of the Association’s website, event planning, issues management and membership services.
Commenting on her appointment, BAMA director, Sue Rogers said: “We are delighted to have Fiona on board. She is already proving to be a great asset in helping us promote our new ‘Can Do Awards’ which encourage Local Authorities to spread the word about aerosol recycling as well as helping us communicate the continuing innovation within our industry. Fiona will help us publicise our work on the important environmental, technical and social issues in which the Association is involved.”
