New Chairman appointed to British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association
John Morris has been appointed as the new Chairman of the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA).  John Morris is the UK Sales Manager for CROWN Aerosols UK, a business unit of Crown Holdings, Inc. (http://www.crowncork.com/),  and has been an active member of the BAMA Executive Committee for the past six years as well as Chairman of the Association’s Commercial and Planning Committee since 2008.

He has been involved in a commercial and managerial capacity for speciality chemical companies throughout his career and was awarded a Phd in Chemistry in 1976.

John Morris says:  “In the face of increasing demands for regulatory, legislative and industry standards information, it is important that BAMA be at the forefront of the UK aerosol industry and take the lead in European activities through the FEA (European Aerosol Federation). I am pleased to be part of that process in my new role as BAMA Chairman. I also intend to continue to provide the highest level of service and quality to our members and to take an active role in promoting aerosols as a high-performance product for everyday life that offers convenience, ease-of-use and recyclability.”

Sue Rogers, BAMA’s Director, says:  “We are delighted to continue our work with John who has been very active with the Association for many years.  I am confident he will continue the excellent work of our outgoing Chairman Nigel Jackson of Precision Valve, who has provided first class guidance and support to the Executive Committee over the past year. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Nigel Jackson for his support and leadership.”
