Reporting Counterfeit Products
Call for Members to Feedback Information
Counterfeit aerosols, especially those seen recently in the Far East where aerosols are being refilled and resold, represent a real safety risk to consumers as well as a significant risk to brand owners. Because of this particular aerosol safety aspect, FEA has formed a working group to raise awareness both within the aerosol industry and among European and National law enforcement authorities of the hazards associated with counterfeit aerosols.
The working group will liaise with similar International associations dealing with counterfeiting. The first task of the group is to collect information about counterfeit cases, seizures and trends related to fake aerosol production and distribution.
