The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association’s (BAMA) ninth annual Forum and Awards Dinner will be held on 18th October at the prestigious Oulton Hall Hotel, Leeds.
Providing details of key changes in regulation and updates from across the aerosol industry, the two day member only conference has grown in popularity year on year. Delegates attend from all sectors including brands, component manufacturers, fillers and marketers as well as waste management, packaging and consultancy firms.
Considering the challenges of the UK recycling system, the circular economy and of course Brexit as well as shopping habits, trade agreements and how scent affects sales, a diverse range of speakers are set to stimulate lively discussions at what has been billed as the UK aerosol industry networking event of the year.
Speakers include, Tim Nancholas from Kantar Worldpanel, Lutz Thannhaeuser of Thyssenkrupp and Rick Hindley from Alupro as well as Bill Boyd from MPMA and Lisa Hipgrave from IFRA UK.
Patrick Heskins, BAMA chief executive, said: “The BAMA Forum has always proved to be a thought provoking event and with such a diverse range of speakers, it will be hard for any delegates not to take at least a little inspiration from the presentations this year.”
Recognising the exceptional skills and high standards of innovation across the industry the Awards Dinner will highlight some of the UK industry's most prominent success stories and share best practice, celebrating achievements in new product development, packaging, sustainability and process safety and training.
Patrick added: “The Awards Dinner is the social highlight of the aerosol industry’s calendar – it’s the perfect networking opportunity and I would encourage all of our guests to take a table and invite suppliers, customers or other stakeholders.”
Although the two day conference is a member only event, non-members and their guests are invited to attend the Awards Dinner which takes place in the evening of the 18th October 2017. The evening provides a great networking opportunity, great entertainment and a perfect way to showcase your company through the BAMA Awards, which, can only be submitted by BAMA members.
Last year’s winners included: CRC Industries UK LTD, Arrow Chemicals and Ball Corporation.
In addition to free publicity the winners in each of the four categories will receive a £500 voucher with runners up receiving a £250 voucher.
The closing date for the BAMA Awards 2017 is 8th September.
